The marketing specialist is responsible for supporting a variety of marketing projects, tasks, and events aligned to Kuder’s overall growth and retention marketing strategy, including campaigns, sales enablement, conferences and tradeshows, social media, email marketing, and video and graphic design projects. This hands-on position will work on a several marketing initiatives simultaneously to achieve meaningful results in a purpose driven organization. This is a hybrid position based out of our Adel, Iowa office.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Execute conference administrative planning procedures (pre, during, and post event), research conference opportunities, and correspond with conference organizers. 
  • Participate in marketing campaigns to offer fresh ideas and develop supporting materials to generate qualified leads, create upsell opportunities, and drive user engagement.
  • Support the social media strategy and create, share, and engage with posts across all social media platforms.
  • Implement email campaigns from start to finish: Write, design, segment lists, send, and track outcomes of campaigns through an email automation platform.
  • Conduct research to identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive analysis.
  • Contribute to content marketing ideation, design, and execution including for engaging videos, long-form content such as e-books, blogs, articles, fliers, brochures, and more. 
  • Support Kuder’s digital experience, posting and optimizing new or updating current content on company website using a content management system and via Google, LinkedIn, and other advertising platforms. 
  • Assist with collateral and promotional item inventory and related vendor relationships and orders. 
  • Gather client feedback and build database of client testimonials and success stories.
  • Prepare regular reports on marketing activities, campaign performance, and market insights for management.
  • Provide support for account management, sales, and marketing teams and projects as well as company events and meetings. 

Non-Essential Job Functions:

  • Ability to work closely with all departments and teams.
  • Supports department and company with other duties and projects as needed.
  • Ability to effectively manage projects independently from start to finish as well as utilize team members as needed. 
  • Stay updated on the latest marketing trends, tools, and best practices to ensure innovative and up-to-date marketing efforts.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Visual Design, or similar. 
  • 1-4 years of experience in marketing, communications, and/or digital media. 
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, required.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (After Effects, Premier Pro, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.), preferred.
  • Experience with modern marketing programs and tools including Canva, ChatGPT, etc.
  • Experience with website design and content management (Word Press, Wix, etc.), a plus.
